SHOLINGANALLUR: A few less abled artists, one passionate motivator and one enterprising IT company on the OMR did some thing special on May 2 evening. Showcased the artworks of the special people and some art students of the College of Arts in the city in the cafeteria of the company in Sholingaballur.
HeartBeat Foundation has been promoting young creative souls who live with serious medical problems or the handicapped who have not been discouraged by their disabilities.
Sales of their artworks by way of auctions or exhibitions like the one tech company GAVS, together with NASSCOM and Great Lakes School of Management funded on Tuesday evening in Sholinganallur.
PR professional V S Ramana and his team at HeartBeat worked hard to curate this show which had a unique launch at GAVS, with short classical dance and music recitals and ended it with delicious dinner where many staffers of GAVS joined in. Actor Gautami dropped by to take a look at the paintings.
A few artworks have already been sold and the show is on till May 5,
One of the artists is K Narasimhalu ( seen on the right in this photo), who paints and embroiders his art works and is based in the Andhra Mahila Sabha campus in R A Puram while Suvedha Ganesh runs her gallery in Telephones Nagar in Perungudi and teaches art at Vel School.
GAVS’ CEO Sumit Ganguli says his company is looking at signing creative people with skills in technology and art who think out of the box and can communicate well. This show was held in that direction.
