OMR’s vacant plots turn mosquito breeding grounds

After the rains, several vacant plots on OMR have seen waterlogging. As these areas are technically private areas, corporation authorities are not allowed to enter them. Even after four days, many of the plots sport waterlogging.

These are potential hotspots for mosquito breeding and the threat of dengue outbreak looms large, once again.
