Free OMR-OMG bus for a month for Madras Week

A special bus, “OMR OMG Express” will highlight the history of OMR, as part of Madras Week celebrations.

Run by Doshi Housing, the bus will run from Aavin Dairy in Sholinganallur to Madhya Kailash, with an audio presentation explaining the cultural and historical significance of the stretch, which is today known for its IT companies.

The service will run for one month from August 24. The service will start from Aavin Dairy at 9:30 a.m., and the bus will make stops at Tidel Park, SRP Tools, Perungudi, Thoraipakkam, and Karapakkam.

Only one bus will be in service, and it will make four return trips. While the plan is to have an hourly service, the timing will depend greatly on traffic.
