Asian BBQ opens at Kottivakkam

KOTTIVAKKAM–Yaki, a pan-Asian barbecue restauraunt is now open near Holiday Inn, opposite SRP Tools.

The restaurant was inaugurated on June 7.

“The word Yaki is Japanese for direct heat,” says Karthik Shekaran, operations manager at the restaurant. He says the restaurant is likely the first in the country to use the kind of barbecue that is used in Japan and Korea.

The marinated starters are cooked on direct heat, and each starter is served with four different dipping sauces. The restaurant also features an elaborate mocktails menu.
