THORAIPAKKAM: After months of waiting, the civic park at Anandha Nagar in Thoraipakkam finally opened. The park, outfitted with a walker’s lane and children’ playground, is lush and lighting has also been provided.
However, the maintenance of the park leaves much to be desired, say residents. The grass and plants are not maintained, and water stagnates during the rains as well, they say.
The park was in the news earlier, as the complete park was awaiting inauguration for more than five months.
