Sholinganallur RTO building cleared by Green Tribunal

SHOLINGANALLUR: The disputed RTO building has been cleared by the Southern Benh of the National Green Tribunal.

The tribunal, which took up the case based on an appeal by I.H. Sekar of Nature Trust, had contended that any construction on the marshland would impede the free flow of water during the monsoon.

Several environment activists have protested this decision.
